Bobbi Morse

Bobbi Morse came on board with Blue Star in 2014 after completing a nearly 25 year career coaching various college & pro levels. Bobbi finished out her career spending nine seasons at Washington University-St. Louis Recruiting and on-court coaching with a focus on the Bears' post play were her primary responsibilities.

During Morse's nine years with the Washington University program, the Bears have won five conference championships, made eight appearances in the NCAA Tournament, advanced to four Final Fours and four national championship games. Washington University captured its fifth national championship in 2010, posting a 29-2 overall record and winning the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship in the process.

Morse is familiar with college basketball in St. Louis, as she served as the assistant coach at Saint Louis University from 2001-03. While with the Billikens, Morse's duties included coordination of recruiting, development of post players and scouting preparation.

During her tenure, SLU posted a 31-29 record. In 2003, Morse helped the Bills to a 8-6 Conference USA record, marking the best league finish in school history en route to SLU's first postseason appearance (WNIT) in the program's history.

Between her first and second year with SLU, Morse served as an assistant coach of the Women's National Basketball Association's (WNBA) Utah Starzz during the summer of 2002. Among other things, Morse was responsible for evaluating college prospects and coaching the post players.

Morse's professional coaching experience began in 1997 as an assistant under head coach Angela Beck with the American Basketball League's (ABL) San Jose Lasers. She helped guide the team to the second round of the 1998 ABL playoffs and worked with such players as two-time Olympian and former Stanford University All-American Jennifer Azzi.

Morse began her collegiate coaching career at Kaskaskia (Ill.) Junior College from 1986-89. During her time in Kaskaskia, Morse registered a 70-25 mark, including a 30-4 audit in her final season.

She accepted the head coaching position at the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1989 and remained there for four years before becoming an assistant coach at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1993. After two seasons at UMKC, Morse joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln staff as an assistant from 1995-1997. She also served as an assistant coach at the University of Rhode Island from 1999-2001.

Morse is a 1985 graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where she played basketball and received a bachelor's degree in business education. She also holds a Masters degree in Sports Management from the US Sports Academy. Morse presently resides in Florida.
