Lynnette Robinson

Lynette came to Blue Star Basketball in Spring of 2010 after spending four seasons at the University of Missouri as the associate head coach.
Prior to Missouri Robinson had a four-year stint as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Michigan. While with the Wolverines, Robinson assisted in all aspects of the program and worked with the athletics compliance staff and oversaw the honorary coach and alumni programs.
Robinson made a name for herself as the lead assistant under Cheryl Burnett at Southwest Missouri State (now Missouri State). During her 15 years at SMS she helped lead the Bears to 10 NCAA Tournament berths, NCAA Final Four appearances in 1992 and 2001 and a 241-118 overall record.
Prior to SMS she spent one year at Northern Illinois in 1986-87, and started her coaching career as an assistant at Purdue during the 1985-86 season after spending two years as a graduate assistant in the athletic department's academic services office at Illinois.
As a player with the Illini from 1978-82, Robinson was a CoSIDA Academic All-America honorable mention pick as a senior and was named to the Illinois All-Decade team in 1991.
Robinson presently resides in Missouri.
