Lisa Wilson joined Blue Star Basketball in 2008 after 14 years of coaching women's basketball. In 2011 she started the Blue Star Florida travel team program – to learn more you can go to http://www.bluestar-florida.com/. Lisa's most recent position was at the University of Alabama where she was on staff for three seasons. Prior to her time with the Crimson Tide she was the head coach at Seminole Community College from 2002-2005. Under her guidance, the Lady Raiders accumulating a record of 59-30, and had her team ranked as high as #9 in the country. The program was ranked in the Top Ten every year for Region 8, and saw 16 all-conference players come through.

Before that Lisa was a recruiting coordinator at Stetson Univ. for one season and at Georgia Southern University for four season. During her time at Georgia Southern, Wilson was part of two Southern Conference championships, and recruited several record-setting players. During the summer of 1996, Wilson was the head coach of Team Florida USA for their playing tour of Sweden, Finland, and Estonia.

A native of Orlando, Florida, Lisa started her coaching career at Lake Howell High School in Winter Park, Florida where she was on staff for three season upon graduting from the University of Central Florida in 1994.

Lisa, her husband Dr. Matt Wilson, and her two children reside in Florida.
