Rutgers (Mitchell), Stanford, Baylor, Texas (Gail), Texas A-M (Blair), Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, UCLA all have coaches in Dallas watching players from Cy-Fair and DFW among others from what I have heard. Some of the notable players in Dallas this week are Chiney Ogwumike, Tiffany Moore, Alexia Standish, Amber Orrange, among others.

Atlanta has UConn (Geno), Duke (Williams) and UCLA (Tasha Butts) watching aswell with Bria Hartley down there.

At the games in Dallas, I also saw coaches from Colorado, Kansas, KState, Penn State, Utep, Rice, SMU, and Arizona.

Hey stanfan watched James play very well until JBS hit Calswish - just too much talent and struggled. Sherbert, Samuelson and Engeln very good as you say, Sherbert is definitely the best 2010 on that team does a little of everything and Samuelson was a surprise seeing she has increased her versatility and taking it to the hoop and getting to the free throw line for her size she is a difficult match up with her shooting range and long defensively, lemberger is a nice player and gutsy, if she bulks a little she will be a nice pick up.

Loved watching Jewel in Chicago showed why she was passed up by USA, Calswish are good they took me by surprise, Like Sherbert a lot, I read she is the glue and I would have to agree, did a little of everything and very versatile, Samuelson also impressed me as I thought she was just one of the crowd before, everyone knows she can shoot but she also showed she can get to the hoop and draw the foul and is very long defensively but I have to say Geno is a smart guy - Engeln was a nice pick up for Uconn she's much better than I thought, kudos. Beebe is another, she is 2 of the best players on Storm and will be great in the paint as she can control her body well - of course Gray would be the other.

Anyone have anything on Crook-Williams?

I read that South Carolina picked up a 2011 POst Is it iliam not sure - also on Ucla board that Stanford has only 1 schollie left for Chiney - a little surprised at the PG pick up. I guess Harberts didn' t look so good in Chicago but not sure why they wouldn't take Sherbert over James. Afure doing well and could be a point for someone. Any news on Gray or Hartley?

Sorry I havent been on this board in forever.

Rdv, I think Sherbert is a great player and by most services and people's opinions she is the best on Cal Swish but I really like what Cassie Harberts and Bonnie Samuelson have to offer aswell. No favorite out of the three for me, I think any college would benefit greatly by the additions of one of these players. Lemberger and Engeln are very solid players indeed.

Rock33, I agree on Swish, they are great. I've always been a big fan of Swish's head coach and how he handles the team. Sherbert, Samuelson, and Harberts are the big 3 on this team though I hear Engeln has improved (or are people just saying this because she's going to UConn?). I haven't seen Beebe but have heard alot about her. She plays with 2 great players in 2010 Chelsea Gray and 2011Justine Hartman. As for Crook-Williams, she plays for Cal Sparks but has been out with bruised ribs, hope for a speedy recovery...that's a very painful injury. She said last year that Tennessee is her dream school so if offered maybe she heads to Knoxville.

Nmolly, Stanford has 2 left for 2010 after verbals from 5'10 SG Sara James and 5'10 PG Toni Kokenis. I too am suprised by the pick-up and now we have 2 left for Chiney, Cassie, Bria, Chelsea, and Chloe....somebody must of been denied admission and/or eliminated Stanford! As for Gray and Hartley, last I heard Gray was still looking at all her options but will probably end up at Cal, Stanford, or Duke....If accepted I'd bet she goes to Stanford. Bria Hartley has UConn, UNC, Duke, Stanford, Kentucky, and Georgetown on her list of 6. She's visited UConn, UNC, Duke, and Georgetown. I hear she'll wait til the fall and take some visits and not commit until November.

Yeah I hear you Stanfan but I'm also hearing Gray is taking an unofficial to Duke and Stanford may not be able to snag that one, Swish players are great, even Lemberger is surprising me as I hear she played a tough game against Full packages Holloway and yes Lloyd is the real deal.

Gray and Beebe are definitely favorites of mine, it will be nice if Beebe stays west and sounds like she has the grades.

Nice write up on HG about Lloyd, Samuelson sisters Bonnie and Karli, Lemberger and I think Antonita Slaughter is going to be great at louisville.

Ariel Edewards commited to Penn State yesterday and during the process I was asked what was the best way to let people know you've made a decision. I mentioned Mr. Edwards that the best way to make sure you let everyone know at the same time, making sure no one is slighted or hurt by being told the info second or hearing it from someone else before you can be called or notified, was to prepare TWO emails - both stating the same thing. I said to make one email for the final coaches who were on Ariel's list and make sure you blind copy them all - and the second was to the media with the same proviso - blind copy so no one feels slighted on the order of their name. When you decide, hit the coaches button first, the media second, then call the head coach of the school you commit to and then the coaches you are not going to. The media email will have them calling next. That's the process to avoid the "why didn't i know first" syndrome.
