Final Results for the Blue Star Country Classic Tournament

Blue Star Country Classic Showcase Results

Ben Davis HS (IN) comes in to Champaign, IL and defeats Bolingbrook HS (IL) 41-28 in a defensive battle. Penn State bound Alex Bentley led Ben Davis with 14 points. Bolingbrook freshmen Morgan Tuck led the Raiders with 18 points.

Heritage Christian HS (IN) defeats Rufus King HS (WI) 67-42. Kelly Faris controlled the floor for the Eagles as she had 11 points, and sophomore Liz Stratman had 14 points. Sarina Simmons led Rufus King with 16 points.

2nd Annual Blue Star Country Classic Tournament Results

In a rematch of last year's one point final, 2008's final brought much of the same. 3A Urbana High School had revenge defeating 2A St. Thomas More 38-37 at Parkland College to secure this year Country Classic Championship. Urbana High School went on to win it's last to games and take 1st place going 5-0 in the tournament.
